I’ve always had a really strong opinion about the “good” and “bad” ways to eat food. I’m sure I’m not the only one who thinks that way, but I’ve never before really put all three together. It’s really nice to see a more complete way of looking at food and eating it that’s not so literal about the actual flavor and texture.

There are a few other things that I really love about food, too. For example, Ive been to the best and worst restaurants for the past five years and their menus are all pretty well designed but Ive always loved the food Ive been to. Also, food is different to other things, so the way the food looks and tastes to eat is totally different to how it should be.

With that in mind, a lot of the designs I’ve seen take the most visual cues from the actual food and then it looks too much like the food itself. It’s not as cool as the food is, but it looks cool.

The food you eat at the restaurants, you eat with your eyes, and with your mouth. No one should be eating with a menu like that. The menu and the food at the restaurants should be designed the same way it should be eaten. If you eat the food with your eyes, it should be designed to look like the food itself.
