So, being an introvert by nature, I emailed my professor from one class with what the problem statement for their assignment was like and she replied back saying “Thank you! This seems perfect.” And then we never talked again. It ended up working out just fine though because her partner team member helped us get started when he saw our email chain (which turned into a lengthy conversation about code sharing), but otherwise things went smoothly enough without needing any more assistance than needed.”
