I do family photo sessions quite a bit. I love getting to know the people I’m working with and get to really get to know them on a personal level. They are an important part of my life, and I’m grateful to be able to share them with you.
We don’t always need to go to the mall for a fun photo shoot, but sometimes it’s nice to know that someone is there for a reason. And we often don’t get to know our loved ones enough to know why we’re spending time with them.
Photography can be a great way to get to know your family in a real way. I always want to get to know the people I’m working with and learn as much as I can about them as a person so I can hopefully help them in some way. And, to be honest, sometimes I’m more interested in how the client feels about me and how it’ll play out, than getting to know them personally.
I think the same thing is true for clients. What I love about photography is that you are able to make a simple photo that shows how you feel about a certain person. You can show something about your feelings about a client, and they can show you something about the feeling they have about you.
Photography allows us to be more human. But as humans we don’t often know how we feel about other people. It’s the art of capturing emotions that allows us to be more human. We can also learn a lot from our clients, but that’s not quite as easy.
My family is the same way. We try to capture our emotions as best we can, but as we grow older our emotions often become more and more complicated.
My family was raised by my aunt and uncle. At the age of 6, my aunt took me to the store to buy a camera and I remember my uncle telling me to always remember “the beauty of the moment”. I love that sentence so much; it is so simple yet so powerful. I love the way he said it and I love that I feel like I am his child.
I love how you can feel how much you care about something. I love when it’s a person you love, or a place you love, but there is something more important in your heart. And that’s what I am feeling right now. I love the fact that I am doing something that I love. And I love that it feels natural to me.
I love when I feel natural. I love when I feel like I am truly creating a memory because of my effort with my photos. I love when I feel like I am doing something that I am passionate about. I love when I feel like I am making a difference. I love when I feel like I have not wasted any time. I love when I feel like I am making a difference. I love when I feel like I am helping someone.
It’s also cool to see family come together to take photos of each other in front of their new house. And I love how it’s more than just a photo session. It’s a bonding experience.
