What should I do if I want my YouTube videos embedded onto this blog post?

YouTube offers a free service that enables you to embed YouTube videos onto your blog. You can do this by copying the URL for a particular video, pasting it into an HTML editor and adding some parameters like width and height (i’ll show you what I mean below).

YouTube offers three different types of embeds including:

– Embed on Timelines – Embed in Posts – Embed via iframe link

I recommend using “Embed on timelines” because they let you create a playlist which is just awesome! It looks really nice on blogs too 😉 If the original uploader has enabled monetization then ads will automatically play before or during your embedded post but I don’t think anyone wants those unless its their own ad haha so make sure the original uploader has disabled monetization.

The only downside with embedding YouTube on your blog is that you’re giving up control of what the size and shape will be but it still looks really good so I think its worth a try!

Paragraph Two:

If you want to embed a playlist (which is what I recommend!), then the process becomes more complicated because it involves downloading and uploading an MPD file which can be found in your Google account by going to “YouTube Settings.” The reason why we have to do this extra step is because when people click on one video, they’re automatically taken back over to Youtube.com where they will continue playing videos from your playlist until the end of it or they stop watching them.
