The first level of self-awareness is the level of the body. The body can be likened to a ship with the most basic needs of food, water, and rest stored in the body.
The body is the brain. If you think you’ve taken this body in from the inside out, consider your life. If you’re in the middle of the stage of a stage where you’re looking at multiple screens, you’re not looking at a screen at all. You’re looking at a screen that’s a different screen, your first screen is a screen that’s a screen that’s always turned on.
If youre at the stage where youre looking at a screen, your attention is on the screen. If youre at the stage where youre looking at a screen, youre not paying attention to anything else. It’s easy to forget that we’re all connected through our bodies. In fact, we all seem to forget the body is a small part of the brain. Your mind is also a small part of your body, but it’s even more important to pay attention to your body.
What makes this even more important is that your body and mind are on autopilot. If you don’t pay attention, then you don’t really know what your body is doing. And because the brain is a small part of your body, its possible for you to become distracted, forget where you are, or get distracted by a new thing. So, as a result, your body’s movements become more erratic, while your state of mind becomes more chaotic.
When you start to notice your body is slowing down, you notice a whole wall of hair or just a thin line. And you notice when the hair lines stop, the body starts to look bigger. When you notice that your mind is not slowing, you notice it again. And you notice when the hair lines stop again and again, the body starts to look even more like it’s full of hair.
Raksha bandhan is a technique that requires a lot of self-awareness to perform perfectly. Once you get your hands on it, you’ll notice that you can do it perfectly just by thinking about it. When you do, you automatically get the results, but you don’t have to do anything to get it. The trick is to know exactly when you’re doing it.
